Okay, so I jumped in and gave it a listen today. My take from a guy who rarely ventures past '79 is that the pain and suffering of the first set was worth it to hear this version of 'Days Between'

Not quite as emotionally painful and plaintive as the 12/19/94 LA Sports Arena version - the best DB IMO - but a damn fine version. I got the impression he gave up on the singing (yeah, I realize the verses were finished) and for the last minute or so of the song he just put his pain into the guitar.
